Jill Caporlingua’s work is an exploration of science, technology, and the mysteries of the human body. Her artwork investigates the relationship between these ideas and inspires curiosity about the world around us.

“The past few years I’ve specifically concentrated on microscopic images of brain cells and how they resemble views of outer space. The inner and outer landscapes are often strikingly similar. Most of my work is in acrylic and oils and utilizes a bold color palette.”

In 2006, Jill founded Gallery Chaos Art Studio, teaching painting and drawing classes online. Through www.artomat.orgJill has sold over 3,200 tiny “cell” paintings at various locations around the country, including the Smithsonian Institute and The Whitney Museum.

Her work has been exhibited and sold at venues in the U.S. and abroad and has also been featured in numerous publications.
